So playing catch up with a few photos... A week before Thanksgiving we went shopping at our second home, Lowes.
We bought a back door! Hallelujah! My dad looks thrilled...
Mom is thrilled over something... maybe she spotted Matthew McConaughey walk by.
I'm so tired of looking at blue boxes I could scream. I bet Tyler is even more tired of looking at them.
Oh and say hey to our fancy new shutters! It's finally looking like a house!!!!!!
On Thanksgiving break, we headed to a junk store in Monticello, where I picked up these gems...
I have big plans for that little froggy! And have you seen the Pantone Color of the year yet?? Love that my jar I picked up is green which I would like to say I fell in love with the color BEFORE pantone came out with their color of the year... EMERALD!
I'm just one step ahead, which never happens to me! ha!
How stinkin' cute are these knobs!
We did a lot of crackle paint for the wedding. I think we are crackled out for now. On to more solid colors I suppose.
Which brings me to my next dilemma... My front door. It's really hard to pick the right color. Yes, it's an easy change if I really didn't want to be married to it. However, I want to get it right the first time and get onto other fun projects.
So, light linen yellow vinyl with white trim, black shutters and multi red/orange brick on the porch. What to do what to do... I took it upon myself to do a little photoshop work to see the options...
I did these quick and I have actual samples to choose from but any feedback or ideas would help.
What is your vote?
Any other colors you think we should consider?! Emerald perhaps?
I don't think I'm loving any of these right now.... #homeownerproblems

I like the green for the door! It adds a pop of color without contrasting with the yellow siding or brick. Plus it has nice earthy tones that will play well against the landscape!
So fun! I like #3 & #6 :) Our house is a light yellow too, and our door is maroon.
Thanks for the input yall! I'll keep you updated on what we choose!
